Summer IRL (In Real Life) for Tweens

from $0.00

A TEACHER-SUPERVISED SUMMER PROGRAM FOR 10-11-YEAR-OLDS: SELF-LED EXPERIENCES THAT BUILD FRIENDSHIPS, RESILIENCE, AND SKILLS FOR LIFE.

Summer is coming! We are already bracing ourselves for screen time debates and resistance to family plans. It’s a hard reality: Tweens need time with friends, independent decision-making, and the feeling THEY ARE CAPABLE. That’s why we’re offering Bend tweens engaging, outdoor settings amongst peers, with certified teachers nearby to empower kids as needed. When adults step back, kids step up. Is your child ready?

Are they ages 10-11?

Do they crave independence and power?

Would they thrive with more boredom and more opportunities to lead their own agenda ?

Have they begun to demonstrate their trustworthiness when independent?

If you answered yes to the questions above, your child may be ready for this unique summer program…

Summer IRL (In Real Life) with Raising Rooted Kids puts tweens face to face with peers, leading their activities & building confidence. It gives parents peace of mind that a skilled teacher is holding a safe container for their child’s budding independence.

Kids are wired to put themselves in situations where they can grow confidence. When adults over-control their environments, tweens face lower self-esteem, confidence, and motivation. Kid-led environments provide high-rep practice in soft skills for life:

Problem-solving

Communication

Self-advocacy

Risk-Assessment

Confidence

Impulse Control

Conflict Resolution

Inclusion

Leadership
